My name is Madi Urquiaga, and I’m the editor behind Dually Noted Editing. Writing and reading have enthralled me since I was young, and even more than writing, I am delighted by editing. I hold a degree from Utah Valley University (UVU) in English Writing Studies as well as a certificate in Editing and Document Design also from UVU. For nearly 4 years, I worked at UVU’s Writing Center as a writing tutor. During that time, I met with more than 700 writers whom I assisted at all stages of the writing and editing processes.
Working with so many writers has made it clear how valuable it is to approach editing as a partnership. As your editor, my goal is to not only polish your text but to give you the resources and feedback needed to succeed even after the editing process is complete.
Every writer has a unique story to tell and voice to share; linguistic diversity is so absolutely, breathtakingly wonderful, and I love every chance I have to assist new voices in being heard.
